Registration guideline

Open Access Guidance for ICPS Authors

Since 2024, ACM is introducing a new publishing model for conference proceedings to be published in ACM’s International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Please refer to the FAQs for an overview of the new model.

For conferences publishing in this new model, all ICPS papers will be published Open Access (OA). Many authors will qualify for free OA publishing, while others will be required to pay an applicable article processing charge (APC).

In the new model, papers whose corresponding author is affiliated with one of the 1,800+ institutions that have joined the ACM Open program will be published open access at no charge to authors.

For 2025 ACM is providing a subsidy on APC pricing for ICPS, as follows:

• The 2025 subsidized APC rate for ICPS papers will be $350.
• For papers where any of the authors is a member of ACM, the APC rate will be $250.
• For ICPS papers whose corresponding author is based in a lower-middle-income country, the APC rate will be $175.
• For ICPS papers whose corresponding author is based in a lower-middle-income country and where any of the authors is a member of ACM, the APC rate will be $125.
• For ICPS papers whose corresponding author is based in a low-income country, no APC is required.

Registration Fee

NOTICE:

1. One author can only register for a maximum of two papers.
2. Please send the required documents: ①final paper; ②signed copyright form; ③filled registration form; ④payment proof to icvars@163.com to finish the registration.
3. Cancellation of a registered participant cannot be acceptable due to participants’ personal reasons, such as, visa, etc, but substitute participants are welcome.
4. The organizing committees reserves the right to change the dates and place of the conference due to force majeure.
5. The losses thus incurred from the force majeure events shall not be liabled.
6. For your property safety, please take good care of your belongings, and valuables should be depositted to the front desk during the conference. If things lost, the conference organizer shall not be responsible for yours!
